The Radeon HD 4890 performs poorly when compared to any of the GeForce GTX graphics cards at 1680x1050 with AA/AF disabled. The GeForce GTX 285 averaged around 50fps more than the Radeon HD 4890. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 was only able to match the GeForce GTX 260 at this low resolution using maximum in-game quality settings.
Not a lot changed at 1920x1200, as the Radeon HD 4890 was still significantly slower than the GeForce GTX 275. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 gained some head way here, beating the GeForce GTX 260 by 5fps, which is still quite a poor effort really.
At 2560x1600 with AA/AF disabled the Radeon HD 4870 and 4890 are really struggling with the “Manor” map. While the Radeon HD 4890 manages some 39fps, the GeForce GTX 275 screamed along with an average frame rate of 66fps.
