While AI-generated artwork is causing headaches and prompting bans from some online communities, another form of digital expression is gaining traction on Flickr. The photo sharing site has launched a new content category for virtual photography, an emerging art form consisting of photos taken inside video games or virtual worlds. Up to this point, Flicker has had three categories to choose from when uploading content: photos, art / illustration and screenshots....

For interest’s sake I’ve included the memory bandwidth results here for Kaby Lake-R, which are slightly improved on Kaby Lake thanks to DDR4-2400 support. Cache is a more interesting story, as Kaby Lake-R includes double the amount of cache as Kaby Lake across the board, and this comes with significantly faster bandwidth. The difference in cache bandwidth is enormous, and while it’s not quite at the level of the H-series Kaby Lake CPUs, it’s way more than a generational leap for the U-series....

The R9 280X Crossfire setup delivered just 57% more performance at 2560x1600 and 34% more at 1920x1200, so the GTX 960s in SLI were 11% faster....

Admittedly at 4K using the highest quality visuals even Fortnite looks pretty crisp and with over 60 fps at all times played incredibly well on the 2080 Ti. The standard 2080 matched the 1080 Ti and both also delivered a smooth gaming experience. Ohh and for those of you hoping to see PUBG benchmarks I’ve had to drop that title, I spent 20 minutes trying to get a game two days in a row, is the game completely dead now?...

Last week, Kaspersky published a detailed analysis of a complex attack that began last fall. It involved a combination of various techniques and pieces of software, but Kaspersky’s security researchers highlighted the use of Windows event logs as something completely new.
