Unsurprisingly Futuremark’s 3DMark synthetic benchmark reveals that the AMD A4-5000 offers better 3D performance than the Pentium 2117U. That said, we were surprised to learn that the A4-5000 was just 11% faster than the Pentium 2117U in this test.
Here the AMD A4-5000 was a match for the Pentium 2117U. It was also 25% slower than the A4-5300 desktop processor.
The Futuremark PCMark 7 synthetic benchmark measures system performance focusing on both GPU and CPU power. Here the AMD A4-5000 scored 2595pts making it 33% slower than the Pentium 2117U, suggesting that the Intel processor has quite a lot more CPU power on its side.
